Sopranos vs. Six Feet Under

Alright, so I think its safe to assume that most people who watch Sopranos, are also watching Six Feet Under, at least I know I watch both. That is what led me to thinking, which of the two shows do I love more? I have been pondering over this very question for a while now, mainly because this season of the Sopranos will be coming to an end this Sunday, but the new season of Six Feet Under will be starting up next Sunday...

Although I found the thought of no more Sunday night Sopranos for a while very disturbing, the thought of Six Feet Under Sundays makes me excited in an undiscribably strange way.

So, like I said I have been pondering the question of which of the two shows I favor, and i think I have made my decision, but I could very well change my mind just as soon as I type it. Six Feet Under wins out. Why? Well, for one reason, there are far more charecters whose stories I love to follow in Six Feet Under, where often times on the Sopranos I find myself wondering who certain people even are. Besides, I just love the whole Fisher Family!!

I don't know though, see I'm starting to question my choice now. The Sopranos is so thrilling at times, like last week when they killed Adriana, which shocked the hell out of me. And thats the crazy thing about that show, no matter how much of a part of the show a character has been it doesn't make him/her any safer from being whacked. It's very unpredictable, and I LOVE that.

Alright alright, so I'm just babbling on trying to contain the excitement I feel for the end of one great show and the begining of another one. Tell me about the show you prefer and why, just cause I wanna know.

I don't, sorry :'(

I was gonna post just to tell you that I don't know enough about either show, but I didn't get around to it cause I procrastinate too much, as we all know.

But I read your posts. Oh, I READ your posts...

Now that I've found you, I read your posts! So, I will comment, although I am not really well-versed because (gasp!) we don't have cable!!! But, I did watch Six Feet Under every chance I got on vacation a few years ago, and I have seen the first 2 seasons of Sopranos. The opening song just makes my head swim with happiness. It's such a good show. Fortunately, I don't remember WHO Adriana is, thank God, or you would have BLOWN it for me! Not Tony's wife?Daughter? Please, no.It's ok if it's his sis though. I am only 3 seasons behind. So, I vote for Sopranos. Not enough to actually pay the $60 a month cable bill. But enough to rent them occasionally for my Jersey fix.
See ya, Kim C.

finally somebody reads my post and gives an opinion. no, adriana isnt tony's wife, or daughter or sister, but she was kinda an important figure on the show the last few seasons. as for being a few seasons behind, you might not want to mention that to your brother (charlie) cause that would just make him VERY sad!

I like Six Feet Under personally. The Sopranos makes me mad because they're so anti-female and I truly despise male chauvinism. Regardless, they're both good shows. However, I'm so happy they took Sex and the City off the air, because that just disgusted me. Regardless of THAT, I am very happy that Nip/Tuck and Six Feet Under are coming back on in the same week, this way I have at least two of my weeknights covered with something to do. If you haven't seen Nip/Tuck yet, I suggest you watch it, it comes on FX, but I'm not sure what day or time. The opener is June 22, so whatever that day is. It used to come on at 9 or 10, so it should be the same this year. But everyone should watch it. Its a really good show.

C'mon posting queen. I want a new post up here PRONTO! I know you don't have weddings of your own this weekend, so don't give me any sort of "I'm busy..." excuse!

i'm sorry but six feet under is quickly becoming awesome, not that it isnt always. russels mustache is the worst thing i have ever seen, and if i have to stare at it in too many more episodes i might have to hunt him down and shoot him...
